What ParagonCA does

Licensed construction repairs for real estate transactions — not punch-list handyman work.

Real estate transactions regularly require contractor-level repairs — water damage, failed showers, tile failures, drywall damage, plumbing-related reconstruction, and significant corrective remodeling. These are not handyman items. They require a licensed contractor.

ParagonCA Remodeling (CSLB #1066959) reviews the construction-related repair requests in your transaction, provides written scopes and estimates suitable for escrow documentation, and completes the approved work. We work with buyers, sellers, listing agents, buyer's agents, brokers, and transaction coordinators.

We do not provide real estate advice, legal guidance, home inspections, appraisals, or guarantees about closing timelines or transaction outcomes. We handle the construction side — the repairs the transaction requires that fall within our licensed contractor scope.

ParagonCA does not guarantee closing timelines or transaction outcomes.

We provide contractor evaluation, written scopes, estimates, and completed construction work. We do not provide legal advice, real estate brokerage services, home inspections, appraisals, or insurance adjusting. Closing timelines and transaction outcomes are outside our scope.

Why a licensed contractor matters for escrow repairs

Buyer-requested repairs and seller repairs before closing that involve water damage, failed waterproofing, structural corrections, or significant remodeling require a licensed general contractor. A licensed contractor can pull permits when required, provide written scopes and estimates suitable for repair addenda and escrow documentation, and complete work that meets California building standards. ParagonCA (CSLB #1066959) has completed 200+ projects throughout the Central Valley and coordinates directly with agents, transaction coordinators, buyers, and sellers.

How it works

From repair request to completed work.

Escrow timelines move quickly. Contact us as early as possible so we can assess the scope, provide a written estimate, and schedule the work.

01

Send the repair request, report, or photos

Use the form below, call us at (209) 502-5997, or email [email protected]. Describe the property, the repairs requested, and the closing timeline. Send the inspection report, repair addendum, or photos of the areas in question.

02

ParagonCA reviews the construction-related items

We identify the items that fall within our licensed contractor scope — water damage, failed waterproofing, tile failures, drywall damage, plumbing-related reconstruction, and similar work. We follow up to discuss what we found and what the timeline looks like.

03

Site evaluation when needed

For water damage, structural issues, or work that requires direct assessment, we schedule a site visit. We assess the actual conditions and provide a written scope and estimate based on what we find — not assumptions from the report alone.

04

Written scope and estimate

We provide a written scope of work and estimate suitable for escrow documentation and repair addenda. We are clear about what is included, what is not, and what the timeline looks like. We do not provide legal advice or guarantee closing dates.

05

Approved work is scheduled and completed

Once the scope is approved, we schedule the work and complete it. We coordinate with agents, sellers, buyers, and transaction coordinators as needed and provide documentation of completed work.
